You can then apply publication start and end date/times to media with the &lsquo;Active&rsquo; status to specify the time period for which it will be published on your websites. In addition to new uploads, existing media can be updated in the media details view to add a start or end date/time. This is optional however, and without specifying a start or end date/time, media will continue to display on your website as long as it is set to the &lsquo;Active&rsquo; status. This means that you do not have to make any changes to your existing media. Also, you can now filter your media assets by publication date/time. When filtering, you can select a publication date range. Any media that is active within that period will display in the assets list. You can also sort media assets by either publication start or end date and time. Media with no start or end dates will be listed after media that does have a date. Currently, admin tool user can upload a thumbnail to replace the existing default thumbnails. The thumbnail upload process generates two files. One is the original, the other is resized to the thumbnail dimensions. The bug discovered is that the edit media section will display both files, when the original file is selected, it causes issues with the thumbnail display in the scrolling widget. The workaround is to always select the image that is to the left of the list.
